Prague tips

If you are using the opportunity of being in the country to have a little city break exploring Prague, which by the way we think you should because

why not, please allow us to give you few tips on places to visit so you can make the most of it!

There is plenty of   historic architecture and all the magnificent monuments are conveniently in close proximity from one another.

Prague has a lot of squares, two of which you should definitely not miss when in Prague.

Old Town Square, which has the famous astronomical tower, the procession of the Twelve Apostles sets in motion when the clock strikes the hour between 9am and 11pm

 

Vaclav square has the National Museum, which we highly recommend

you visit, as it was recently refurbished and is absolutely stunning

    Naplavka is currently the most attractive and liveliest society venue on the banks of the river Vltava in downtown Prague offering a variety of gamut activities including farmer’s markets, sports, cultural and

gastronomy events.

 

Prague Castle is the seat of the Czech rulers and presidents, its panoramic view is one of the most spectacular in the world!

Vysehrad is situated on a rocky promontory above the Vltava River, it offers stunning views of the city, and the park area holds hidden

architectural treasures. 

   Charles Bridge is Prague’s oldest bridge built under the auspices of Charles IV and finished in 1402. It is decorated with statues of the saints, most famous of which is the statue of St John of Nepomuk.

 

 Church of Our Lady before Tyn is one of the most impressive Gothic religious buildings accessible for a voluntary charge through a passage from Old Town square.

 Petrin Hill and gardens is a beautiful urban green area popular for its magnificent views of the city and the mirror maze. You can walk there on foot or use a funicular.

Other monuments and places we recommend visiting include Clementinum, Dancing House, National Theatre.
